Alpinestars Honda SMX Softshell Waterproof Textile Jacket

The inspiration for the Honda SMX Waterproof Softshell Jacket comes from a mix of motocross and street bike designs. The material selection for the jacket was influenced by elements from MX sports, in addition to the sporty fit and graphics. The jacket also incorporates performance features from street use, such as the external DFS Lite shoulder caps, as well as a waterproof membrane for added protection in all weather conditions. The Honda SMX WP is the perfect jacket for anyone who is passionate about motorsports. Made from 600D poly fabric and 3-layer stretch softshell, the Honda SMX WP jacket offers an optimal blend of durability, comfort, light weight and freedom of movement. The SMX WP jacket features subtly incorporated, class-leading Nucleon Flex Plus reinforcement for proven impact protection. Equipped with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment on the solid waterproof membrane for proven wet weather performance, the Honda SMX Jacket has a removable thermal liner so it can be adjusted to weather conditions for versatility. The Honda SMX WP Softshell Jacket features strategically positioned stretch panel inserts designed to accommodate Alpinestars' Tech-Air® airbag system, which expand when the airbag is inflated but also provide a high level of anatomical performance and excellent fit when the system is not mounted.

• The Honda SMX WP jacket is Tech-Air® Ready and can be equipped with the Tech-Air® 5 or Tech-Air® 3 airbag system to fully protect the upper body.
• Chassis made of a blend of polyfabric and 3-layer stretch softshell (315 grams/square meter with a breathability of 15k), for comfort, durability and light weight.
• The jacket features a durable, waterproof 2-layer membrane for proven wet weather performance
• Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment on the outer shell for added wet weather performance
• Athletic, body-hugging fit and pre-curved sleeves for optimal riding performance
• Removable thermal lining (100 g on the body/80 g on the sleeves) allows the jacket to adapt to the climate of the day
• DFS Lite (Dynamic Friction Shield) on the shoulders for improved abrasion resistance
• The rear part of the jacket is extended for better coverage while riding.
• Shock cord at the waist for a secure closure
• Low sports collar with soft lining for improved comfort
• Two zippered front pockets, two chest pockets, one waterproof inside pocket for documents and two inside pockets on the lining for secure storage of valuables
• Front zipper is designed to be durable and easy to use
